Sign-in problems

Sign-in lives at app.vertaflow.io. Work down this list.

  • Check spam/junk. The email comes from VertaFlow <no-reply@vertaflow.io>.
  • Wait a moment, then request again. Each link is single-use.
  • Use your exact account email. A typo sends the link nowhere.
  • Still nothing? Sign in with your password instead — it’s the primary method and doesn’t depend on email delivery.

Magic links expire in 5 minutes and work once.

  • If it expired, just request a fresh one.
  • If it says “already used” but you never clicked it, your email app may have previewed the link and spent it (common with Apple Mail, Neo, and corporate scanners). Our links go through a safe landing page to prevent this, but if it still happens, set a password and sign in with that — see Sign-in methods.
  • Passwords are 10 characters minimum — make sure you’re using the right one.
  • Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. There’s no separate reset email — it switches you to magic link, which signs you in so you can set a new password under Security settings.

Google sign-in only appears when it’s enabled on your deployment. If it’s not there, use password or magic link. See Google account linking.

  • Passkeys need a supported browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox on a current device).
  • A passkey is tied to the device it was made on — use that device, or fall back to password / magic link. See Set up passkeys.
  • Make sure your phone’s clock is set to automatic — TOTP codes are time-based.
  • Out of options? Use a backup code from setup. No backup codes? Contact support.

If you started on a white-label or preview address, the sign-in link keeps you on that same host. If you ever land somewhere unexpected, go back to the exact URL you started from and sign in there.

You can’t lock yourself out — magic link is always available for your account email. If none of the above works, contact support.
