Free tier limits
VertaFlow Free is a forever-free starter, not a time-limited demo. It’s built to do one job well: capture leads and keep them organized. The operating tools — invoicing, pipelines, contracts, SEO, AI — turn on when you upgrade to Pro.
What Free includes

- Live chat (canned replies) — the chat widget with pre-written canned answers. AI-grounded chat is paid-only. See Live chat widget.
- Visit tracking / pixel — install the pixel and see who’s visiting. See Visit-tracking pixel.
- Unified inbox — work new inquiries from one place. See Leads & the inbox.
- Clients (Contacts) and the dashboard, plus settings, profile, billing, and notifications.

What’s paid-only
Section titled “What’s paid-only”These are not on Free — they turn on at Pro (or higher):

- Tickets & support, activity feed
- UTM tracking, analytics
- Premium widgets (booking, reviews), AI-grounded chat
- Contracts, Lighthouse audits, the SEO panel, API keys

The Free platform fee
Section titled “The Free platform fee”Free is the only plan that carries a platform fee. If you collect customer payments through your connected Stripe account, VertaFlow takes a 1% application fee on those payments. Every paid plan drops that to 0% — you keep 100%. Moving up from Free
Section titled “Moving up from Free”When you open a paid-only feature on Free, VertaFlow shows it behind a frosted panel with an upgrade prompt naming the lowest plan that unlocks it. Upgrade from Settings → Plan & billing — see Upgrading & downgrading.
