Contracts
Contracts in the CRM let you keep a record of the service agreements you have with your clients — what was agreed, for how much, with whom, and where it stands. Open Contracts (/contracts) in the sidebar to see every contract with its title, number, signer, amount, status, and created date.
What a contract holds
Section titled “What a contract holds”Each contract is a record with:
- a title (e.g. “Website design agreement”),
- an auto-assigned number (
CON-0001,CON-0002, …), - an optional client (link it to a contact),
- an amount and currency,
- an optional signer email,
- free-text terms and notes,
- a status — one of draft, sent, viewed, signed, paid, declined, or void.
Create a contract
Section titled “Create a contract”- Open Contracts and click New contract.
- Pick a client (optional), give it a title, and set the amount.
- Add a signer email and terms if you have them.
- Click Create contract — it opens on its own detail page.
New contracts start as draft.
Move a contract through its lifecycle
Section titled “Move a contract through its lifecycle”From a contract’s detail page you set where it stands. The status transitions are:
- Mark sent — you’ve sent the agreement to the client (stamps the sent date).
- Mark signed — the client has agreed (stamps the signed date).
- Mark void — the agreement is cancelled.
