Contracts

Contracts in the CRM let you keep a record of the service agreements you have with your clients — what was agreed, for how much, with whom, and where it stands. Open Contracts (/contracts) in the sidebar to see every contract with its title, number, signer, amount, status, and created date.

Each contract is a record with:

  • a title (e.g. “Website design agreement”),
  • an auto-assigned number (CON-0001, CON-0002, …),
  • an optional client (link it to a contact),
  • an amount and currency,
  • an optional signer email,
  • free-text terms and notes,
  • a status — one of draft, sent, viewed, signed, paid, declined, or void.
  1. Open Contracts and click New contract.
  2. Pick a client (optional), give it a title, and set the amount.
  3. Add a signer email and terms if you have them.
  4. Click Create contract — it opens on its own detail page.

New contracts start as draft.

From a contract’s detail page you set where it stands. The status transitions are:

  • Mark sent — you’ve sent the agreement to the client (stamps the sent date).
  • Mark signed — the client has agreed (stamps the signed date).
  • Mark void — the agreement is cancelled.
