Google account linking
Linking Google lets you sign in to VertaFlow with one tap — no password, no email link.
Connect Google
Section titled “Connect Google”- Open Settings → Security → Sign-in methods.
- On the Google row, click Connect.
- You’re sent to Google’s consent screen. Pick your account and approve.
- Google sends you back to your security settings, now showing Connected.
From the sign-in screen you can also click Continue with Google directly the first time — it does the same thing.
How linking avoids duplicate accounts
Section titled “How linking avoids duplicate accounts”If the email on your Google account already matches a VertaFlow account, Google attaches to that existing account rather than minting a new one. VertaFlow treats Google’s verified email as authoritative for the match.
In practice: if you originally signed up with a magic link or password using
you@example.com, then later click Continue with Google on that same Gmail address,
you’ll land in the same account — your clients, deals, and settings are all still there.
Disconnect Google
Section titled “Disconnect Google”- Open Settings → Security → Sign-in methods.
- On the Google row, click Disconnect and confirm.
You can disconnect Google safely. Magic link is always available for your account email, so you won’t lose access — you’ll just sign in with your other method(s) afterward.
