Email/notifications not sending

Two separate systems here: email (estimates, invoices, contracts, drips) and push notifications (native banners). Check whichever applies.

VertaFlow sends transactional email through Resend.

  • Check the recipient’s spam/junk first.
  • Confirm the address is correct on the record you sent to.
  • Bring-your-own Resend: if you connected your own Resend account under Settings → Integrations, make sure your API key is valid and your from-domain is verified in Resend. An unverified domain silently fails delivery. See API keys & integrations.
  • Re-send from the record (estimate, invoice, contract) to retry.

Push gives you a native banner when a ticket comes in, an invoice is paid, or an appointment is booked. Turn it on in Settings → Security → Push notifications.

  • Enable it first. Click Enable push and allow notifications when the browser asks. The badge must read On.
  • Permission denied? If you blocked notifications earlier, re-allow them in your browser’s site settings, then enable push again.
  • iOS: web push only works after you install VertaFlow to your home screen. Install first, open it from the home screen, then enable push. See Mobile & install (PWA).
  • Unsupported browser / deploy: if the card says push isn’t configured, it isn’t enabled on this deploy. Some older browsers don’t support web push at all.
