Messages & notifications

VertaFlow keeps you in the loop with a notification bell in the top bar and optional browser push. You control exactly which alerts reach you — and, for inventory, which of your team gets them — under Settings → Notifications.

Open Settings → Notifications. The top section, My notifications, is per-user: whatever you change here applies to your account only, not your teammates’.

VertaFlow notification settings — per-user alert toggles, push opt-in, and inventory alert roles

Settings → Notifications: mute the alert types you don’t want, opt into browser push, and pick who gets inventory alerts.

Each notification type has a toggle. Turn one off and you stop getting that kind of alert:

  • New leads — a new lead or contact comes in
  • Appointments — bookings, reschedules & reminders
  • Invoices & payments — invoice paid, overdue, or sent
  • Orders — new or updated orders
  • Inventory alerts — low-stock and critical-low alerts
  • Messages — client messages & replies

Flip the toggles you want and click Save preferences.

Below the type toggles is a push opt-in entry point. Turn it on to let VertaFlow send notifications to your device even when the tab isn’t focused — handy when the app is installed to your home screen or dock. Your browser will ask for permission the first time.

The second section, Inventory alerts, is a workspace-wide (tenant) setting — it decides who on your team is notified when stock runs low. (It’s most relevant to retail and restaurant verticals that track inventory.)

  • Send low-stock alerts — the master switch. Off, and no one gets stock alerts.
  • Who gets the reorder (low-stock) alert — pick the roles that should hear when a product runs low. This is usually whoever places reorders (the clerk). Defaults to Staff.
  • Who gets the critical-low alert — pick the roles for stock that’s nearly out or has stayed low. Usually the Owner and Managers.

Roles you can assign: Owner, Admin, Manager, Staff. Adjust the chips, then click Save alert rules.
