Command palette (Cmd+K)

The command palette is the fastest way to move around VertaFlow. Hit one shortcut, type a few letters, and jump straight to a record or a page.

Open it

  • Mac: ⌘ K
  • Windows / Linux: Ctrl + K

You can also click the search bar in the top of the app. Pressing the shortcut again closes the palette.

Start typing and results appear, grouped by kind:

  • Pages — any navigable surface in the app. Type a category name like estimates, billing, settings, or analytics and jump straight there. Page matches show first so power users land in one keystroke.
  • Clients — by name.
  • Jobs, Invoices, Estimates — by their key fields.

Page search runs instantly off a built-in index; record search queries your workspace as you type (with a short debounce). Some keywords are threaded in as synonyms — searching subscription, plan, or stripe all find Billing, for example.

Once results are showing:

  • ↑ / ↓ — move the selection up and down.
  • ↵ Enter — open the highlighted result.
  • Esc — close the palette.

You can also hover and click any result with the mouse.
